Pasadena police arrested a man Wednesday night for allegedly trying to steal a community resident’s bicycle.
Francisco Hernandez, 29, is in custody accused of burglary, said Pasadena Police Department Lt. Lisa Perrine in a telephone interview. Hernandez allegedly stole a bicycle from a residential garage in the 1200 block of Inverness Drive, Perrine said.
The homeowner returned shortly after the burglary and notified police at about 7:50 p.m. Authorities located Hernandez and the bicycle and arrested him, Perrine said. The bicycle was retrieved and given back to the owner.
The city in which Hernandez lives was not noted on the police report as of early Thursday morning, Perrine said.
