Authorities reported that undercover drug enforcement detectives from the Sheriff’s Department, the Monrovia and Glendora Police Departments along with officers from the South Pasadena Police Department arrested two South Pasadena residents in the 2000 Block of Berkshire Ave. for possession of cocaine for sales last Friday.

An undercover operation involving an “undercover buy” was arranged by detectives from the CALMMET Regional Drug Enforcement Team to purchase a large amount of cocaine from the suspects at the suspect’s residence on Berkshire Ave., police say.

Based on evidence obtained during the investigation, detectives obtained a search warrant for the premises.

Upon serving the warrant and making the arrests, detectives discovered approximately ten pounds of cocaine with a street value of more than $100,000. Charged with possession of cocaine for sales were Curtis Banks, male, age 26 and Kevin Sinon, male, age 42, both of South Pasadena, police say.
