The Pasadena Public Library’s San Rafael Branch will be closed through Oct. 17 as workers install a new roof, officials said.
The branch at 1240 Nithsdale Road was shuttered Monday to allow for the work, library officials said. It’s scheduled to reopen on Oct. 18.
Original plans called for the library to reopen Oct. 11, but “rainfall this week that stopped work” caused a delay.
Book holds scheduled for delivery to the San Rafael Branch Library can be picked up at the Linda Vista Branch Library, 1281 Bryant St., the library said in a written statement.
The Linda Vista Branch is open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday and from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
