Tetra Tech Inc., a Pasadena-based consulting and engineering firm, announced it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Providence Consulting Group Pty Ltd, an Australian advisory and project management consultancy specializing in defense and government services.
The acquisition strengthens Tetra Tech’s global advisory practice by adding Providence’s expertise in program delivery, systems engineering, and protective security. Providence has built a strong record supporting defense agencies in resilient planning and sustainment, according to the company.
“Tetra Tech’s extensive advisory expertise and advanced technology solutions support our clients in effectively and efficiently planning complex programs,” said Dan Batrack, Tetra Tech CEO.
“The addition of Providence will further advance Tetra Tech’s expertise in advisory program delivery, while expanding our client base in the Australian defense sector to help customers to support mission readiness and strengthen resilient infrastructure.”
“Providence has built its reputation on talented people helping government clients deliver strategic capability and operational outcomes—through an emphasis on risk-led governance, practical delivery, and a values-based approach to collaborative client relationships,” said Adash Janiszewski, Providence CEO. “Joining Tetra Tech gives our people access to an amazing range of expertise and opportunities and allows Providence to expand its support of Australian Defence across the Asia-Pacific region.”
Providence will join Tetra Tech’s Commercial/International Business Group. The acquisition will be subject to the satisfaction of customary closing conditions.
