On April 24, the Rose Bowl Institute will host its 3rd Annual Women’s Empowerment Networking Luncheon, a venue for attendees to engage with female industry trailblazers across various sectors, including sports, media, aviation, and beyond.

This free public event will be  at the iconic Spieker Field within the historic Rose Bowl, and starts at 11 a.m.

In conjunction with the event, the annual Women’s Empowerment Symposium will extend its reach with a three-day virtual program scheduled for the Fall. Geared towards high school juniors, seniors, and college students, the free symposium offers a platform for participants to glean insights from prominent female figures in business, athletics, and education.

“The goal of our program is to introduce students to a diverse array of educational and career opportunities, fostering confidence as they progress in their personal journeys,” Lauren Hall, Programs Director for the Rose Bowl Institute, said in a Rose Bowl Institute statement. “Our aim is to inspire and empower the next generation, equipping them with leadership, ethics, confidence, and character-driven skills essential for their future success.”

This year’s luncheon features a lineup of dynamic speakers and networking opportunities aimed at fostering connections and igniting aspirations among high school and college students alike. It will also include Brooklyn Moors, an Olympic gymnast and UCLA student-athlete.

“I am honored to have the opportunity to connect with other young men and women through the Rose Bowl Institute’s programming,” Moors said. “Giving students like me a platform to learn from female leaders across a variety of industries supports both personal and professional development and inspires confidence and leadership as we move forward in our own education and careers.”

Since it was established in August 2020, the Rose Bowl Institute has remained committed to empowering at-risk youth and underserved communities across Southern California and beyond. Sticking to its core values of sportsmanship, leadership and citizenship, the Institute continues to offer free donor-funded programming aimed at enriching the lives of its participants and nurturing their growth as engaged members of society.
