Caltech Campus Closed on Thursday

Caltech announced that while the campus is not under direct threat from local fires, gusty winds and smoky air are affecting the area. As a result, hundreds of Caltech staff, faculty, and non-resident students have been impacted.

In light of these conditions, Caltech will remain closed on Thursday, January 9. The Institute plans to resume operations on Friday, January 10, pending continued assessments of the situation.
