Through the first floor and all the way up the stairwell to the second floor, it was a lengthy line to reach Chelsea Clinton for an autograph, Wednesday night at Vroman’s bookstore.
Clinton held a book signing for, “It’s Your World: Get Informed, Get Inspired & Get Going!” Her new book is directed towards children, and according to Pam Haga, who was waiting in line with her own child, “it’s about making a difference in the world.”
Standing out in the lengthy line, at exactly 7 feet tall, was retired NBA player, Jason Collins. He greeted Clinton with a big smile and the two conversed casually for a couple of minutes. Clinton and Collins are old friends from Stanford University, along with Maria Camacho and Brady Beaubien, who were also present.
For a copy of Clinton’s book, stop by Vroman’s at 695 E. Colorado Blvd. in Pasadena, or, visit them online at www.vromansbookstore.com.
