Officers were unable to find a jaywalker who reportedly punched a motorist Tuesday night, when the victim honked his horn to have him walk through the crosswalk, police said.
The assault at Fair Oaks Avenue and Del Mar Boulevard was reported to police at 9:54 p.m. Tuesday
The victim was in his vehicle as the light turned green and the suspect, a man in his 30s wearing a black T-shirt and black jeans, had not fully crossed the street and remained near the car’s path, said a watch commander at the Pasadena Police Department.
The motorist honked his horn, some words were exchanged when the suspect went to the passenger’s side of the car and punched the victim in the face and fled the scene on foot.
Officers arriving at the scene were unable to locate the suspect.
