Monday’s City Council meeting has been canceled according to Public Information Officer Lisa Derderian.
“A few Councilmembers would have had to call in as they would have been away at a conference relating to their position on City Council,” Derderian told Pasadena Now. “Since nothing on the agenda was time sensitive, and it’s better to have members in person, we decided to defer those items to January 22 when we expect those members can be there in person.”
The cancellation means that the City Council will not meet for the first time in 2024, until Jan. 22.
The Jan. 15 meeting will be canceled in honor of the Martin Luther King Holiday.
According to the previous agendas, no public hearings were scheduled for the Jan. 8 meeting.
