On Saturday and Sunday, Aprill 22 and 23 from 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Kidspace will hold it’s 21st Annual Grand Butterfly Release.
Each day, Kidspace will release over 700 butterflies from the Stone Hollow Amphitheater. “Just Kidding Music Group” will perform starting at 1:30 p.m. and countdown to the release at 2:00 p.m. Guests are welcome to bring their own adopted butterflies to release.

Enjoy special activities to learn about and celebrate the life cycle of our small, winged friends: Visit “Butterfly World” to imagine you are a butterfly, paint en Plein Air with live butterfly inspiration, make Butterfly Puddlers and Butterfly Feeders to help support the life cycle of the butterfly. Arrive early to enjoy all of the day’s activities and to avoid admission lines.
Also, this will be the last weekend of Caterpillar Adoption Days at Kidspace. Witness the magic of metamorphosis by adopting a Painted Lady Caterpillar during Kidspace’s butterfly season. Your caterpillar, its food, and care guide will be $4.50 in the Busy Bee Learning Store, or $18.99 for a cup of 5 caterpillars.
