Job seekers will have a chance to connect with hiring employers at a Career and Resource Fair scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 14 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Robinson Park Recreation Center, 1081 North Fair Oaks Avenue.
The event is hosted by Councilmember Justin Jones in partnership with City of Pasadena departments and the Foothill Workforce Development Board.
The fair will feature entry-level and professional openings from sectors including medical, hospitality, retail, transportation.
Job candidates should bring printed copies of their résumés and come prepared for onsite interviews.

Official partners include the City of Pasadena, the Foothill Workforce Development Board, and America’s Job Center of California, offering access to employment guidance and resources.
Foothill Workforce Development Board Executive Director Dianne Russell-Carter is retiring after more than 30 years of service, and the Board continues its mission to connect workers and employers in the region.
The Board is located at 1207 EastGreen Street.
Councilmember Justin Jones, a licensed civil engineer and associate civil engineer with Los Angeles County Public Works, represents District 3.
He is actively engaged in civic partnerships that support workforce development initiatives.
The fair will take place at Robinson Park Recreation Center, a 7-acre facility offering multipurpose rooms, a commercial kitchen, fitness center, dance room, gymnasium, and audiovisual systems.
The event is financially supported by a federal and state Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act Title I grant.
Auxiliary aids and services will be provided upon request for individuals with disabilities.
