A two-vehicle traffic collision Saturday evening at the intersection of East Orange Grove Boulevard and Sierra Madre Boulevard resulted in a BMW SUV flipping over, but no serious injuries were reported, according to Pasadena Police Lt. Richard Padilla.

The crash occurred at approximately 7:14 p.m. on Nov. 1 and involved a dark blue BMW X5 and a gray Toyota pickup truck, Padilla said. The BMW was carrying a driver and a baby at the time of the incident.

By the time officers arrived, the baby had already been removed from the vehicle, Padilla said. Both the driver and the child declined medical transport. Injuries were described as minor to moderate — mostly bruising, nothing broken Padilla said.

The driver of the Toyota pickup was uninjured, Padilla confirmed. No extrication was required for any of the occupants, and the Pasadena Fire Department responded to the scene to assess the individuals involved.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
