The Rose Bowl Aquatics Center is hosting an AquaSplash & Open House event on Friday, Oct. 13, a family-friendly event showcasing the center’s programs and facilities and featuring a range of activities.

The event will include an All-Star Water Fitness class with a live DJ and a lineup of instructors. Trader Joe’s will be sponsoring a pumpkin splash patch, providing seasonal entertainment. Kids can enjoy face painting, pumpkin decorating, and more.

The Aquatic Center will also present a competitive showcase featuring their dive, swim, water polo, Rays, and masters teams. Guests can explore information booths and photo opportunities so they can capture memories while there.

Adults can visit the beer and wine garden, while street food vendors will satisfy everyone’s taste buds.

“The RBAC is a vital hub in our community, and we love celebrating our programs with the people we serve. This event is an excellent opportunity to support our annual ‘Let’s Pool Together’ campaign,” Jimmy Francis, RBAC Executive Director, said. “We hope everyone will join our All-Star Water Fitness Class, and of course, the Pumpkin Splash Patch is a fan favorite!”

The Open House begins at 4 p.m. Admission to the event is free, and more information, as well as RSVP and sponsorship opportunities, can be found on the RBAC website, https://rosebowlaquatics.org/.

As a nonprofit organization, the Rose Bowl Aquatics Center aims to promote health and wellness by offering aquatic educational, competitive, therapeutic, and recreational programs. Facilities at the Center include two Olympic pools, a therapy pool, a weight room, conference rooms, locker rooms, a café, and an aquatics merchandise shop.

The Center also hosts world-class swim, dive and water polo teams, as well as various programs such as water aerobics, warm water exercise, lap swimming, learn-to-swim lessons, and land-based fitness and yoga.

The RBAC also provides regular water safety instruction to third-grade students in the Pasadena Unified School District, including those with special needs.
