A motorcyclist suffered major injuries following a collision involving a car along Colorado Boulevard in Pasadena on Friday afternoon, officials said.
The crash was first reported about 3:45 p.m. in the intersection of Colorado Boulevard and Vinedo Avenue, Pasadena police Lt. Mario Ortiz said.
The injured cyclist, initially described only as a man, was rushed to a hospital with life-threatening injuries, according to the lieutenant.
Initial investigation indicated the motorcycle collided with a car that was making a left turn in the intersection, he said.
The driver of the involved car remained at the scene and cooperated with police, Ortiz said. There were no overt signs of a crime.
